General rule and regulations
- Follow All Mon National College rules and regulations.
- Adhere to all guidance, announcements, and warnings from the faculty and staff.
- Comply with by all the MNC’s actions and policies
- Foster a peaceful environment including positive school culture by avoiding any actions that may disturb others and activities
- Do not create division among students or incite students, resulting in the breaking of college rules
- Abstain from using, possessing or selling alcohol, tobacco, addictive substances and drugs.
- Do Not engage in dishonesty, lying or cheating, to be involved in thief.
- Do Not leave the campus without permission (Refer to hostel Rules)
- Do Not engage in inappropriate action, social or sexual harassment and relationship.
- Do Not keep or possess pornography in any form. (digital code, DVD, online access)
- Do Not tamper with fire alarms or equipment.
- Do Not use or possess restricted items such as knives, swords, guns, fireworks or any forms of weapon.
- Refrain and avoid from fighting or offenses to others students, staffs or faculty either verbally or physically (Do Not be aggressive to each other’s)
- Do Not harass assault or threaten any students, staff, faculty or guests.
- Attend required campus meetings such as ceremony, students ‘activity and other service, assemblies
- Do Not destroy property belonging to fellow students, staff, faculty, guests or the college
- Do Not engage in activities that damage the name of another person or the college
- Abide by the college’s dress
- Do Not stalk another student, staff or any member of the community. Stalking is a serious offence may result in the full range of disciplinary response, including dismissal from the college
- Maintain school facilities and school equipment or belonging to public
Hostel Rules and Regulations
- Adhere to All Hostel Rules: Students must follow all residential rules and regulations without exception.
- Report Illness Immediately: If you are sick, inform the hostel teacher or hostel monitor promptly.
- Obtain Sick Leave Properly: If unable to attend class due to illness, fill out a sick leave form from Student Affairs. If you are unable to do so, seek permission from the Teaching Assistant (TA).
- Dress Appropriately When Outside the Hostel: Students must wear suitable clothing, such as an appropriate dress or shirt, whenever they are outside the hostel premises.
- Maintain Cleanliness: It is mandatory to k eep your bedroom clean and tidy at all times.
- Notify Before Going Out After 7 PM: If you plan to leave the hostel after 7:00 PM, you must inform the hostel teacher in advance.
- Observe Gender-Specific Hostel Restrictions: Students are prohibited from visiting the opposite gender’s hostel or dormitory. Exceptions can only be made with permission from the office if absolutely necessary.
- No Meals Inside the Hostel: Bringing rice or having meals within the hostel is strictly prohibited.
- Inform the Office of Any Visitors: If you have a guest on campus, you must notify the office immediately.
- Sign Out When Leaving Campus: All students are required to sign out at the designated area whenever they leave the campus.
Daily Hostel Rules and Schedule
- Wake-Up Time: All students must wake up no later than by 6:00 AM every morning.
- Quiet Hours Begin at 6:00 PM: No speakers, loud noises, or guitar playing are allowed after 6:00 PM to maintain a peaceful environment.
- Bathing Deadline: All students must finish bathing by 6:45 PM.
- Mandatory Worship: All students are required to participate in worship at 7:00 PM.
- Curfew for Visits: Students are not permitted to visit other campuses or hostels after 9:00 PM.
- Return to Hostel: All students must return to the hostel by 10:00 PM.
- Lights Out and Silence: Students must be silent and go to sleep by 11:00 PM.
- Stay on Campus During School Hours: On school days, all students must remain on campus from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Rule of the Library
Respectful Behavior
- Treat fellow library users, staff, and resources with respect. Refrain from disruptive behavior, including loud talking, running, or any form of harassment, social relation
- Do Not engage any social relationship from being disruptive for library users
- Maintain a quiet atmosphere within the library. Keep conversations to a minimum, and use headphones when listening to audio
- Kindly set your mobile devices to silent mode and limited phone conversations to designated areas outside the library
Food and Beverages
- No food is allowed in the library. Beverages in coved containers are permitted but should be consumed quietly and away from the library materials and computers
Library Borrowing Policy
- Borrowed materials must be returned by the due date to avoid fines.
- Replacement costs for any lost or damaged items.
- Borrow a maximum of two books at a time, and each book must be returned within one week.
- Writing, drawing, highlighting, folding pages, or any other actions that damage library materials are strictly prohibited.
- Sign for any books they borrow from the library.
- Do Not share the book without signing from returning dates

Library Hours
- Adhere to the library’s operating hours. Please be mindful of closing times to allow staff to complete end of day tasks.
Personal Belongings
- Keep personal belongings with you at all times. The library is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Computer Use
- Use library computers responsibly
- Respect time limits, and refrain from accessing inappropriate or offensive content.
- Printing services are available: changes may apply.
- Borrowed computers must be signed and returned by per day
Community Spaces
- Respect designated community spaces. If you need a meeting room or other facilities, please inquire at the front desk for availability and reservations.
