Faculty of Nursing Science, one of the departments at Mon National College (MNC), located in Nyi Sar, is offering a bachelor degree program in nursing science. This program has been developed to align with international undergraduate nursing academic practice and is therefore three years (36 months) in length, segregating into 120 hours each year. The curriculum of Bachelor in Nursing Science is developed by Myanmar and international experts including the Royal College of Pediatricians and Child Health (RCPCH), who provides programmatic and technical assistance. The course maintains a balanced mix of theory and practice at a 60-40% ratio. Notably, it exceeds the practice hours required in many health systems, including those in Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, and the United States.
